What a Beautiful wedding. Thanks so much for having us at Kevin's photography.
Love this image it so reminds me of the Old Black and White Glamour photos of the fifties and sixties.
A very traditional, but wonderful image.
This is always a favorite place at Sandia. With such a beautiful couple we had this great opp to get this stunning image.
I love Black and White, this image really fit the mark for a beautiful sepia image.

What a great wedding, incredible location, and beautiful people. Thanks so much for having us at Kevin's photography. We ended up with some incredible images. Thanks so much for being involved in all the poses we came up with, we have learned over the years that the more involved, on time, and willing the bride is, the better and more unique her photos will be.
I love all the lines and shapes in the Spencer Theater, what a fun place to work.
The ceremony location worked out great, lots of light and what a good place for fish eye shots.
This Wall was great, the colors were so vibrant.
During the pre shots, I had so many ideas and so little time, We sure got some great images. The Lodge at Sierra Blanca was a good location for pre wedding photos, I am glad we started at this location, it was so different then the ceremony location offering a completely different look.
Bo's dad was awesome, Thanks so much for the incredible complements.
This shot reminds so much of the Glamour photographs of 1950's, Amanda is so photogenic.
We got lucky with a great sunset, it went so fast, we got it just in time.
What a great first dance.
Thanks again for having us, can't wait to build your album.

I remember the day we did Molly and Clint's Engagement session. What fun, I knew these two were a special couple. Their young son came along with us and he was awesome, we did spend a little time hunting for snakes, but still managed to get all the engagement photos done.
These shoes were so cool, Seems any place I set them I saw a photograph. Good Choice Molly
Clint had the "The Look". Had to take advantage of it and get some great images.
This was a tricky one to light, especially considering it was so overcast, but we pulled it off. I love this one in both color and in Black and White.
The Romantics are always my favorite.
The artsy photos are always fun, Molly was such a trooper, she was so easy to work with and willing to try any pose I put her in. THANKS MOLLY
When the sky is full of rain, we just have to search out good indoor places to shoot.
Thanks So Much for allowing us at Kevin's Photography to share your special day.

What a great day we had with Paula and Spencer at the Buffalo Thunder Resort. I was looking forward to photographing this wedding ever since I met this wonderful couple at a Bridal Fair.
I was a little worried about the rain however it all worked out great and the rain did not start till the reception. Of course the sky was full of beautiful clouds.
This Bridge reminded me of the weddings I have photographed up in Vail Colorado.
This had to be one of the best pre wedding dressing areas I have worked in. The Governors suite at Buffalo Thunder is awesome
What a great Bride, too much fun.
This wall was like a studio back drop, just perfect for getting artsy.
Got to love these neon lights.
Buffalo Thunders ceremony chapel is amazing.
A quick ride back to the chapel on the golf cart, another great opportunity for a good photograph

From the day I photographed Kristy and Matthews engagement photos I knew this couple was special.
They have the most incredible personalities and sense of humor. I truly enjoyed photographing the wedding and getting to know the families. Thanks so much for letting me share your special day with you.
I always enjoy the opportunity to photograph a beautiful couple with the Sandias in the background. Thanks Tanoan Country Club
I've got to give Kristin and Matthew a big, "YES" You guys did more dips during the first dance then any couple I have ever seen.

Its always fun to find new and exciting ways to create images for our brides and grooms. Last weekend we spent our Saturday with Cynthia and Eric in Gallup New Mexico. Gallup's Church Rock has always been one of my favorite places to photograph wedding couples, however we lucked out and came across this junk yard along the way. Thanks to Eric and Cynthia we had a blast and got some great images.

I am often asked about the differences between a Bridal Session at the studio prior to the wedding day, versus photography at the wedding. We recommend doing both. The studio session is done in a controlled studio environment which allows the opportunities of professional backdrops and lighting. The wedding day can provide a great location for awesome images, provided the time that is allocated for the photography is sufficient, and the area for pre wedding photography offers some beautiful places to shoot.
Here are a few images of the same Bride from both the studio and the wedding day location.
And now for the images from the wedding day.

White Sands New Mexico has to be one of my favorite places to create unique wedding photography. We had a blast on Sunday with D'ann and John. After a great wedding on Saturday in Ruiodoso, we headed down to White Sands National Monument for some stunning romantic images.

Here at Kevin's Photography We love photographing New Mexico Brides. Whether it's in our studio or on location, the bridal session is a very special part of the wedding photography. With so many beautiful locations to choose from, it can be a difficult choice where to create these special photographs. Albuquerque Bio Park is one of our favorites.

What a great idea our photo booth was for this special day!! We had such a fantastic time at this Taos New Mexico wedding watching guests let go of their inhibitions and make wonderful photographs all on their own!! The line never stopped and the people never stopped laughing!! The guests really enjoyed this interaction with the camera and having this photo booth made the party atmosphere boom!! This photo booth was a great way to give the guests something extra to remember this beautiful wedding day. What a blast!!

I am often asked how we can create such natural, yet perfect images with our wedding photography. While thats a question I love to answer, to consistently get great images at every wedding, and especially at every wedding location, a wedding photographer needs a lot of training and experience. Just a slight change in camera angle, a bit of extra light from a reflector, a little communication, and some enhanced camera settings, can turn an average candid or photo journalistic opportunity into an incredible and memorable image.

I have to say that it was such a joy to photograph Kacie and Tyrels' wedding in Alamogordo, New Mexico. We had a ball photographing the rehearsal on Friday, Oct 31st, the wedding ceremony on Saturday and the romantics at White Sands National monument on Sunday. This couple was such fun, and I have to say that Kacie is a natural when it comes to posing. With a little guidance, she fell right into the poses and everything flowed so well. Thanks so much guys for getting up so early on Sunday and helping us to create some fantastic images at White Sands. You guys rock!!!
